Most of the vehicles we export travel by roll-on/roll-off vessel. Anything that runs — cars, trucks, buses, construction machinery — is driven aboard under its own power, while units that cannot move themselves are brought on deck with forklifts or Mafi trailers.
When the route, the destination, or your schedule calls for it, we book container space instead. Each vehicle is braced and lashed inside the container so it reaches you in the same condition it left our yard.
Before a vehicle ever sees a ship, we collect it — from the auction house, the dealer, or your supplier anywhere in Japan — and carry it safely to the departure port.
Many countries will not admit a used vehicle without an inspection certificate. We know which scheme each destination recognises, book the test, and have the paperwork ready before the vessel sails.
Between purchase and sailing, your vehicle waits at our designated yard, where export customs formalities are completed on site. On request we photograph it there, so you can see exactly how it looks before departure.
We also look after the details around the shipment itself: repairs and servicing, sourcing spare parts, and marine insurance cover for the voyage.
